About Me

Clement Ngosong is a final-year student studying Electrical Engineering at Ashesi University as a MasterCard Scholar. On campus, he has served the student body by assuming several leadership roles, notably as the International Community Committee Chairperson, and as the International Students Association President, representing a community of 230+ students from 30+ countries.

Outside school, Clement is very involved with multiple organizations across the international development space, bringing his perspective as a young changemaker to support the design, development, or execution of projects and programs targeting young people across the globe. Some of these organizations include the European Union, the United States Agency for international Development (USAID), Restless Development, Open Dreams, etc.

As a first-generation student from Cameroon’s English-speaking minority, Clement’s goal is to ensure that youth in marginalized communities can access better socio-economic opportunities that will enable them to have a decent and dignified livelihood. He is interested in working in a multi-disciplinary space where he can leverage his experience with contemporary development and social issues, and his technical engineering background to empower people and communities.

When Clement is not working, he is probably playing football, travelling, or reading an interesting blog/book.
