About
Hi, my name is Clement Ngosong. I'm a graduate of Ashesi University, where I studied under the prestigious Mastercard Foundation Scholarship. My journey from a small town in Cameroon to influencing global youth policies is a story of relentless passion, dedication, and the transformative power of education and exposure to opportunities.
Growing up in Muyuka, I was always fascinated by electronics and robotics. This curiosity drove me to understand and solve complex problems, and ultimately earned me a degree in engineering. But as I grew older, I realized that my interest extended beyond technology. I began to see the incredible potential in young people and believed deeply in the power of education to unlock this potential.
In 2020, I founded Impact Axis, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young people with the skills and resources they need to pursue personal and professional goals. Through Impact Axis, we have impacted over 500 young people through capacity-building and mentorship programs. Seeing how our work with young people helps them hit their personal or professional goals has been incredibly rewarding.
My commitment to youth empowerment caught the attention of the European Union Commission for International Partnerships, and I was selected from over 4,300 applicants to serve on the Commissioner's Advisory Board. As one of the global advisors, I worked on EU External policies across Education, Youth Participation, Training, and Entrepreneurship. I have also served on USAID’s Youth Advisory Board, and worked with other organizations and youth from 20+ countries.
I believe deeply in the power of youth to create solutions to the most pressing challenges of our time. Together, we can build a future where every young person has the opportunity to thrive and make a difference. This is my journey, and I am committed to continuing this work, inspiring and empowering the you across the continent
